Our preparation and safety program seeks to decrease the number of air travel related incidents for both pets and humans. According to the Department of Transportation, nearly 507,000 animals were transported in 2018 and the number of animal incidents related to travel are increasing due to a lack of education.
Cesar Millan Foundation provides education and training to members of law enforcement in order to de-escalate high stress situations where animals are present. According to the US Department of Justice’s community-oriented policing services office, 25 to 30 pet dogs are killed daily by police with some numbers as high as 10,000 per year.
The Cesar Millan Foundation provides training and education programs for members of the Juvenile Detention and Criminal Justice Systems. The purpose of this program is to teach compassion and leadership to those who are incarcerated and/or re-entering society.
